I read this ghazal as part of my 7th grade syllabus. Since then it has been one of my favourite urdu ghazals (not that there are many of those!). The last sher is extremely poignant.
Umre draz mang k laye the char din... Do arzo mein kat gaye do intezar mein...
Even I have quoted this couplet at many places, but only forgot where I had read it... Thanks to Azma. Yes it's a great ghazal, it also reminds us about the situation of our state... the feeling to have something... the hope that we live on...
